Kid Approved and Mummy loved Dairy Free CHOCOLATE Shake

I’ve recently converted to Juicyism and I can’t believe I’ve only just discovered it. I especially I love how vibrant, clean, and healthy green juices have made me feel. As much as I’d like to share the greens with little Issy, she’s not exactly the biggest fan. Sometimes we wonder what she actually lives on, because she eats like a starving bird! Not kidding. If chocolate was allowed as a meal replacement I would bet a pretty penny that she would live off of it.

Well I’ve finally found her chocolate meal that is healthy enough for mummy and daddy to say “ok honey, you can have chocolate for breakfast!”. I absolutely guarantee your kiddo will love this AND so will you. This recipe contains delicious organic cocoa powder which is known for its high anti oxidant levels, lowering blood pressure and reduce the risk of heart disease and strokes. Tahini in chocolate!?!?! YES! Who would have known! I love tahini but have never had it in a chocolate shake and it seriously makes a huge difference. It is also a great source of calcium, magnesium, iron, phosphorus, zinc, vitamins B1, B2, B3 and B5 (great for preventing anemia) and pangamic acid. This chocolate shake is so chocolately that your little rugrat won’t even know the difference!

Raw Fairtrade Cocoa Powder – 1 Tablespooon

Tahini – 1 Tablespoon

Manuka Honey – 2 teaspoons

Banana – 1/2 ripe and peeled

Almond Milk – 1 Cup

Ice Cubes – 1 small handful


Put all these into a blender and blitz for about 1 minute until smooth.

Healthy, quick, mess-free, parent approved healthy kid shake!
